The irony is that I’m sure you knew the pattern when Stan called it out, but it’s the terminology we stumble on, sometimes. I’ve found that different musicians have different ways of identifying (and misidentifying) the same things.

For instance, if you ever figure out what “jump blues” is, let me know! lol It’s one of those terms that thrown around a lot but I haven’t seen a consensus on it.

In any case, I think Stan takes sort of a sadistic pleasure in throwing people for a loop. Slim’s done it to me many times. Have to be on your toes when you’re around him.

Now…I have to ask. Are those your jammie bottoms you’re wearing in the video..?
